WireGuard is available in the 20.04 kernel, which makes a simple VPN much easier to set up. Python 2 is no longer installed by default.

sudo do-release-upgrade # upgrade path from 18.04Ubuntu does not offer the 18.04 to 20.04 upgrade by default until the first point release (20.04.1, expected in the summer). Servers that matter should wait for it, test the upgrade on a clone first, and read the release notes. New builds can start on 20.04 today.
