KubeEdge architecture: CloudCore in the cloud watches the Kubernetes API and sends desired state to EdgeCore on each edge node over a WebSocket or QUIC link, and EdgeCore reports status and events back; EdgeCore runs pods with its Edged module, keeps a local copy of metadata so pods keep running when the link is down, and exchanges data with devices over MQTT.
