OpenEBS and K8up flow in six steps: the application claims a volume, CSI provisions a replicated volume with the Replicated PV engine, writes are replicated across nodes, the K8up operator creates a restic job on schedule, the job mounts the persistent volume claim, and restic copies the data to object storage.
