Loki flow in seven steps: the agent pushes a labelled stream to the distributor; the distributor replicates it to ingesters; ingesters flush compressed chunks to object storage; a dashboard sends a LogQL query to the query frontend, which splits it into sub-queries for the querier; the querier reads recent logs from ingesters and older logs from object storage and merges them.
